Professional team in the areas of body and movement development in mountain areas

Our project was born out of the necessity of developing a movement proposal to experience the bond with nature.

It stands out because of its social and environmental commitment, since it includes the social actors involved in the activity to its value chain. We want tourism, which is not a basic need, to be accomplished in natural environments and in the long term mountain activities to be able to be carried out in a sustainable way. It is our goal to provide a balance between spare time needs, which are demanding, and what is possible to do in these contexts.

Environmental responsibility

We look up to mountain landscapes. We value their beauty and from that point we build our bond with nature.  From this idea, being responsible for our actions every time we set foot on a mountain is not an obligation but a reward for what we get from it. Our experience respects the harmonic balance of the ecosystem being aware of minimizing our trace.

Cooperation

Although the activity takes place in the mountain, where we work with product and service producers of local communities, the cities are the places which host our logistic processes.  In these places we build networks with clients and with those who provide the necessary products for the activity, making strategic alliances which work as builders of collective social values

Professional Support

We are responsible, committed, qualified professionals who provide reliable services. We have the skills to solve any problem that may arise from these experiences. We know the terrains and we carefully plan how to prevent and minimize possible risks. We have the logistics and the necessary equipment for each proposal, as well as permanent and specific training which helps us develop tools and resources to respond to each individual necessity.

Who do we address to?

To people who enjoy physical activity in the mountain, who like nature and dare to meet it respectfully and sustainably.

To people who acknowledge our values and intend to connect to them.

To people who understand that the importance of Mons Experience goes beyond a mountain trip, because it does not only involve a guide service but also a thorough dedication to every single detail.

What do we offer?

We work for you to live Mons Experience, an experience which provides trust and security, framed in a bond of kindness and predisposition, encouraging the active role in the mountain which permits to connect with each person’s abilities and individual challenges. We maximize the smallest possibilities of comfort, taking them to their limits so that those who choose our services have the possibility to have a break from the responsibilities that this activity involves, with a qualified team.

We offer mountain activities where the intensity, duration, technique skills and physical abilities are regulated according to the motivations of the hikers with the goal of living positive and pleasant experiences. The development of the practice may change according to the necessities and interests of the participants: High Mountain, trekking, hiking, climbing, and more.

Why travelling with Us?

Because we are a professional team in the areas of body and movement development in mountainous areas: Teachers and Graduates in Physical Education, Professional Guides, Alternative Tourism Providers and First Responders in wild areas.

Because our programmes are directed by qualified people: professional and experienced mountaineers who enjoy their work in the field acknowledging empathy as a primary value and providing an excellent service.

Because we have a very favourable guide – client ratio.

Because we consider food as a primary factor in the physical activity, and accordingly, we provide nutritious meals taking into consideration the height above sea level and also developing the concept of gastronomy as a fundamental axis of Mons experience.

Because our programme responds to a studied and tested plan of extensive acclimation, enhancing the well-being of people in altitude and looking for more possibilities for reaching the summit.

Because we care for the planet and, in consequence, respect and care for the environment are crucial for the development of the expedition.

Our proposal

We have proposals for those who are giving their first steps and want to enjoy moderate and low-demanding activities, where even children can participate.

Besides, for those who have already had the opportunity of being of in the mountain and want to broaden their experiences, we invite them to enjoy camps, or nights at refuges, where the physical demands are higher, but they can have the chance to get to know astonishing corners of our country.

For those who are experienced climbers and want to broaden their contact with the mountain, we offer ascent challenges with demanding journeys and technical difficulties.

We also offer training days, where we can overcome physical difficulties and face climbing challenges.
